Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free trial

BillKey offers a free trial on the Starter plan. No payment is required to start. You can cancel anytime; cancellation simply means you stop using the Service.

2. Paid plans — eligibility for refund

For paid plans, a pro-rata refund of unused prepaid usage is available within seven (7) days of the original purchase. After this window, refunds are at the Company's discretion.

3. What is refundable

  • Unused prepaid platform fees for the current billing period.
  • Subscription fees billed in error or due to a billing system fault.

4. What is not refundable

  • Statutory taxes (GST) already remitted to the Government.
  • Payment gateway / processing fees, where applicable.
  • Per-invoice / per-EWB / per-IRN usage that has already been consumed.
  • Custom integration / onboarding fees, once work has begun.

5. How to request a refund

Email hello@billsaathi.in with your account email, invoice number, and reason. We will respond within three business days and process eligible refunds within ten business days to the original payment method.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel your paid plan at any time from your dashboard or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate refund for the unused portion of the current period unless the request meets the seven-day window above.

7. Data after cancellation

You may export your data via the dashboard before cancellation. Records subject to statutory retention will be preserved as required by Indian GST law; other personal data may be deleted on request per our Privacy Policy.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a chargeback. We respond fast and prefer to resolve disputes directly.
